Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup flour
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Directions:
- Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper, then toss them in flour to coat lightly.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan, and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until the garlic is fragrant.
- Stir in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
